Note: This kit does not include or use FINISH MICROCEMENT to achieve the desired texture.

Step by Step – Professional Results (Using BASE MICROCEMENT only)

1. SURFACE PREPARATION

Before application, ensure the surface is:

• Dry, clean, free from dust, grease, and oil
• Mechanically strengthened (sanded paints, removed loose layers)
• Areas affected by mold treated with mold remover

Requirements:

• Moisture content in mineral surfaces: ≤ 4%
• Moisture content in gypsum surfaces: ≤ 0.5%
• Air temperature: +5°C to +25°C

2. PRIMER – PRIMER Q

Application:

• Apply PRIMER Q with a roller, working in different directions

3. BASE AND FINISH – BASE MICROCEMENT

In this kit, BASE MICROCEMENT serves as both the base layer and the decorative finish coat. To achieve a professional result, it is crucial to follow the sanding and layer count instructions carefully.

Application:

1. First Coat (Base Coat): Apply BASE MICROCEMENT with a stainless steel trowel. Work in small sections, applying a thin (1-2 mm) and even layer. The goal is to create a stable foundation. Allow to dry for at least 4-6 hours.
2. Intermediate Sanding (After 1st coat): Once the first coat is dry, if the surface is not smooth enough or has imperfections, it can be lightly sanded. This step is especially important since there is no separate finish layer.
3. Second Coat: Apply a second thin layer of BASE MICROCEMENT, trying to smooth out any imperfections from the previous coat. Allow to dry for 4-6 hours.
4. Third Coat (Finish Coat): Apply a third, even thinner coat to achieve the desired texture and smoothness. This layer will be the visible surface, so work carefully.Note: If an exceptionally smooth result is desired, light sanding can be performed after each coat. Perform the final sanding before applying the varnish.

4. PROTECTIVE COAT – PU 2K VARNISH

Two-component system:

• Component A: base (100%, water-based PU)
• Component B: hardener (10-11% of A weight)
• Mixing ratio: A : B = 100 : 10 (max 11)
• Example: 1 kg A + 100-110 g B

Mixing Instructions:

1. ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Since the varnish is two-component, do NOT mix the entire quantity at once. Divide Component A into two equal parts (for the first and second coat of varnish).
2. Add all of Component B to the first part of Component A.
3. Mix with a slow-speed electric mixer (300-400 rpm) for at least 3 minutes.
4. Pour into a clean container and mix again thoroughly.
5. Prepare the second coat of varnish only when you are ready to apply it, using the second reserved part of Component A (do not use it without hardener!).

Application:

• Pour material generously onto the surface
• Use a 25 cm epoxy/varnish roller, working crosswise (first in one direction, then perpendicular).
• Roll again with a 25-50 cm roller saturated with material to remove excess and even out the texture.
• Always work wet-on-wet – do not let edges dry out before connecting.
• Replace rollers every 30 minutes.
• Avoid forming pools

Special Conditions:

• If substrate temperature > +20°C, add up to 10% clean water to the first coat of varnish only (to extend its open time).
• Avoid direct sunlight during application

After applying the final varnish coat, allow the entire system to cure fully for 7 days before normal use. During this time, avoid moisture and mechanical stress.
